About Rachael

Based in Nashville, TN, Rachael brings a designer’s sensitivity to space, texture, and balance into her painting. Her work reflects a layered approach; one that merges technical refinement with an intimate, lifelong connection to the act of making.
 

She started drawing in high school, continued the practice in college, and reconnected with art through painting sessions in nature with her mother-in-law and artist, Marie-Louise Petrie. She's an abstract artist who enjoys experimentation and working in different mediums. ​

A lifelong designer, Rachael weaves a tapestry of creative mediums like interior design and product design into her paintings to build atmospheres. She loves working with interior designers, architects, and clients directly.
